Physical therapy now has direct access, meaning most insurances allow you to schedule directly with a physical therapist without seeing a physician first. Your therapist will always send their evaluation to your physician for them to review once you are seen.

Yes, we do. Billing is done through Mercy Hospital, whether you are using insurance or self-pay. Nearly all insurances are accepted.

Each insurance varies. Some require co-pays at each visit, some are high deductible, and some like Medicare cover therapy entirely up to a certain dollar amount, which we track and keep you informed of. We recommend first calling your insurance to learn your benefits. Additionally, Mercy Hospital has a price estimator on their website.

Revive Therapy bills through Mercy Hospital. Mercy Hospital sends bills out once a month for the month prior. It may be up to 2 months before your bill is processed by insurance and mailed to you. You are able to pay your bill in person, over the phone, or online on Mercy Hospitals website.

Symptoms of course vary based on the cause and severity. For minor to moderate injuries, it may be 4-6 weeks before you feel the benefits of therapy. Post-surgical patients are often seen for 8-12 or even more weeks. Regardless of your situation, your therapists are experienced in the recovery process and will do their best to educate and progress your recovery as smoothly as possible.

First appointments are 60 minutes. Follow-ups are generally 45 minutes, but can be adjusted based on patient needs.
