Matt Vermillion
Matt Vermillion is a graduate of Halstead High School and attended Wichita State University where he received both his undergraduate and Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Matt was the PT Manager at Mercy Hospital in 2017-2022 before co-founding Revive. He assists and supports Moundridge High School as he connects with young student-athletes in their care. Matt and his wife, Mallory, welcomed their first child, Malakhi, in 2024. He also enjoys restoring his vintage 1967 Ford Mustang. Matt chose to become a physical therapist because of his God-given abilities to serve others. He has a passion for the health and well-being of his patients through building connections and reviving their physical wellness. Matt is attentive, engaged, and dedicated to the details of his work and is excited to serve his patients at Revive. Matt also has certifications in Dry Needling and Lymphedema Therapy.

Gaven Schumann
Gaven graduated from Sabetha High School, Tabor College with a biology and business degree, and eventually the University of Saint Mary with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Gaven is an assistant coaching for the Hesston High School boys basketball team. He also enjoys his frequent visits to the Hesston Golf Course. Gaven is the oldest of three kids and values the time he gets to spend with his family. Gaven chose to become a physical therapist after experiencing a significant injury as a young kid and being inspired by the recovery that allowed him to continue sports through college. He enjoys working with a wide range of populations, from athletes to geriatrics, and values the relational aspect of his job as much as anything! Gaven is certified in both Dry Needling and Vestibular Therapy.

Jessanna Schumann
Director of Operations, Occupational Therapist
Jessanna is local to this area, graduating from Hesston High School, Hesston College, Tabor College with a psychology degree, and Rockhurst University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy. Gaven and Jessanna were married in 2019, and returned to Hesston in 2022. Jessanna enjoys planning home projects, all things volleyball, learning to golf, and spoiling their dogs. Jessanna chose occupational therapy after developing a fascination with the complexity of the hand. Being an OT also allows her to problem solve with people experiencing difficulty to help relieve barriers to living a meaningful life.
Cara Lapp
Physical Therapist
Cara graduated from Sterling College with a Bachelor’s in Health Science, focusing on pre-physical therapy, and then pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Wichita State University. During grad school, she cherished her volunteer work with children with disabilities through programs like GoBabyGo, ICanBike, and Ruby’s Gymnastics. As one of seven siblings, Cara values time with her family, including her adorable nieces. In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, playing board games, engaging in outdoor sports such as pickleball, basketball, and hiking, and Cara is also active in her church nursery. Her passion for healthcare has been evident since high school, with roles as a CNA, restorative aide, and PT technician. She chose physical therapy for its potential to enhance individuals’ quality of life through wellness and mobility. Cara takes pride in personalizing treatment for each patient and is excited to work alongside her twin sister at Revive—no, you’re not seeing double!
Anna Miller
Occupational Therapist
Anna’s career as a Certified Nurse and Restorative Aide ignited her passion for Occupational Therapy, with a particular focus on rehabilitation for shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science degree from Sterling College and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Huntington University, where she actively engaged in volunteer and leadership roles within the older adult and hand therapy specialties. Anna is married to Noah Miller, a Registered Nurse at Hutchinson Hospital. They enjoy living in Hesston, close to family and friends. Outside of work, Anna loves to bake, support her siblings’ school and sports events, explore new trails for walking or biking, and play pickleball and other games with loved ones. She also cherishes the time spent spoiling her nieces. Anna's goal as an Occupational Therapist is to be a lifelong learner, share the care and love of Christ through meaningful client relationships, and meet individuals where they are to facilitate optimal occupational engagement and quality of life. Anna is grateful to work with a fantastic team (including her best friend/twin sister) at Revive!
Angie Rewerts
Angie attended Emporia State University and obtained a biology degree, then went on to Wichita State University for her Master’s of Physical Therapy. Angie is married to Shannon, a teacher at Hesston Middle School. They have three children who all attend or are recent graduates of Hesston schools. She enjoys supporting her husband with all of his teaching and coaching endeavors, and being her kids #1 cheerleader with all of their activities and passions. Basketball and track meets keep her busy, and the mountains are her happy place. Angie finds physical therapy exciting, because each day and each patient is unique, presenting new and diverse challenges. She takes great satisfaction in helping people shift their mindset from “I can’t” to “I can.” She is always learning and adapting to help people get back to their best quality of life. She is particularly interested in working with pregnant and postpartum women, athletes, and those with foot and ankle conditions.

Kegan Schumann
Personal Trainer, Sports Development Coach
Kegan and Gaven are brothers who are close in age and passions. Kegan achieved his Master’s in Business from Baker University, where he excelled as an All-American football player. Kegan has since earned his certification in personal training and has experience training at various levels. When given the opportunity, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, as well as athletics. He is driven by a passion to provide individuals with the opportunity to transform their futures for the better through fitness. His primary goal is to help athletes achieve their dreams of playing at the collegiate level. Kegan also works with the general population who have fitness goals.
Laken Webb

Laken is a current student at Kansas Wesleyan University. He began interning with Revive Performance in the summer of 2024. Previously, Laken has played college football and finds fulfillment in helping young athletes work towards their goals to play at the next level.
Virginia
Office Coordinator
As an employee for Mercy Hospital, Virginia brings over 30 years of medical receptionist experience to her role. A native of Cheney, KS, she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings throughout her career. Virginia took a break from work to raise and homeschool her three children. She has since returned to healthcare and enjoys being a part of helping people to feel better. She enjoys working with people and making new friends. In her free time, Virginia enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her husband of over 30 years, David. She has two sons and one daughter who are each married, and recently welcomed her fourth grandchild. Above all, Virginia is most passionate about her faith and family.
